Atlanta, where water prices have increased by 233 percent, is at the very top of the list.
From the USA Today story:
“…Atlanta officials say their rates — up 233% since 2001 for monthly usage of 1,000 cubic feet of water — partly result from $1.3 billion in spending to upgrade the city’s water supply system in compliance with federal clean water mandates.”
