It’s easy to forget (or never realize) that three streets, not just two, converge at this intersection, and that Peachtree and West Peachtree meet in two places, not just at the Midtown/Brookwood border.
This intersection is so unrecognizable now that it’s hard to tell which direction this photo was taken from.

It makes me sad that we have to re-do all this at great expense because we couldn’t see the benefits of streetcars 60...
