Urbanism and transit at street level

Anyone know what this building at the corner of Trinity Avenue and Forsyth Street used to be? Judging by the extensive charred-ness of the beams in what used to be the first floor ceiling, there was a pretty serious fire there. Judging by the vegetation it’s sprouting top to bottom, that fire was quite a while ago.

The last building permits issued for it are about 10 years old, all of them for post-fire “clean and close.” According to the county’s records, the building is 112 years old and belongs to someone local.
